God is Holy (Spiritually perfect or pure; sinless; deserving awe, reverence, adoration) -- God is absolute in His purity and His righteousness. God has no evil in Him. God is utterly separated from all evil; His presence can’t endure that which is offensive to His holiness and purity. God is light, which cannot be overcome by darkness. God is holy in everything He is and does.
Leviticus 19:2 “… Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.”
Psalm 5:4 “For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell in thee.”
Psalm 77:13 “Your ways, oh God, are holy. What god is so great as our God?”
Psalm 111:9 “He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever--holy and awesome is his name.”
Psalm 145:17 "The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works."
1 Peter 1:15-16 "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy, for I am holy."
Let us heed the call of the Psalmist (Psalm 99:5) “Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.” And let us join the angels around God’s throne as they shout (Isaiah 6:3-4) “… ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.’ And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, …”

Holiness really does improve worship, it like fires it up. I used to think it was a negative thing, don't do this. Now I see it as freeing us to be what God meant us to be.
Amen, Amen and Amen!
