I was thinking the other day that I once read a story about a famous evangelist, who's name escapes me at the moment, and when asked what was the most profound and inspirational thing he had ever heard/read concerning God he stated, "Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so." What's the most inspirational and/or encouraging thing you've ever read/heard?

I also love Phillip Yancey's book, "The Jesus I Never Knew".
Wow, that's a good question... Well, there's alot of stuff like to to me, in the Bible. "Do not let your hearts be troubled..." & "cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you. knowing that Jesus is preparing a place for me up in Heaven is pretty encouraging too.. we have so much to look forward to once we get to Heaven.

my pastor friend calling my mother mum and my father dad...
that is one of the most encouraging words I have heard..but of course, the best is from Jesus Himself when He whispers to me "Don't worry, I am with you...."

Time is a resource. We all get 24 hours of it each day. it seems so long as we're in it and yet, when it is over I think we will realize how short our time here really was.
Been rethinking my use of time as a resource.
Keep eternity in view
The eternal God is my refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms...
The very thought that the Creator God sees me as an important individual in the midst of millions, has forgiven my sins, and loves me enough to always be my refuge.
