  • I think it is safe to take a few minutes to update this morning.  I’ve really been wanting to get back to regularly reading your blogs and visiting some new subscribers but have been just too busy with higher priorities.  I’m sorry to say that yesterday I did a bit of reading but it was limited to just those who commented on my last blog.  I never wanted to be that type of person but, for now, that’s what I’ve become!

We are still working on finishing the deck on the back of the house.  Besides that I have some work to finish in one room on our upper floor then another to start, as well as intended work on the lower floor.  On top of that is a party for my youngest next Sunday, which is why the deck needs to be finished and the house cleaned.

Work has been pretty uneventful.  As I’ve noted before we are going through a major reduction in the number of employees but I have enough time that I don’t have to worry about being laid off.  We are also reorganizing which is shifting people all over the place but it appears, for now, that I will stay put in my dream job.  I haven’t worried much about it, preferring to leave it to God, and it seems to working out for me at least (God IS Good!).  I feel bad for some of the others who have invested so many years in their jobs and then are just being tossed aside because of poor management.  I guess no matter how hard you try, the government just never changes.  Anyways, I have a new project starting up at one of the lakes and will be traveling there the greater part of the next two weeks.

I read Deb’s (Dos_Rohos) comment on the last blog with much concern: “had some hard hitting news to my family I found out I have cancer please keep us in your prayers.”  Let’s stand beside her in this and lift her up in prayer that God’s will be done in her life.  Also lift up her family and visit her site (link above) to encourage her and let her know you care.

Well, I have other things to do so I’ll close this post for now.  I pray you all have a blessed week ahead and that God’s will for your life becomes more and more evident as each and every day passes.
