  • I have a couple of minutes and decided to update yet again!  I spent most of this morning  getting worship ready for next week and then going over the worship set for today.  We are going away for Sunday and Monday and since I try and get out a set list on Sunday or Monday I decided I better do it today.  With that and getting a few things prepared for our trip, I barely made it to band practice.  Our keyboard player left a couple of weeks ago and everyone was wondering if I was hunting for a new one.  I told them no, it was up to God to provide the new one.  One of our singers had taken a few weeks off to have a baby and she emailed me to tell me she'd be back this week and offered to play keys!  I'd completely forgotten she played piano and she did a great job tonight.  People have been responding to our worship leading and that's all I've asked, that we'd present people an opportunity to worship.


     


    I worked 10 hour days this week trying to get my jobs done but the reality of which we presented to the leadership on Friday is that it probably won't happen.  The design work (my portion) will probably be done, but the specifications and estimates will take addition time and they need my design before they can proceed.  A lot of shortsightedness on the part of the leadership left us in this situation but I guess I should pray more and complain less!  Anyways, I'm glad to have the holiday on Monday so we can get away for a couple of days and look for used books and used furniture.
