  • Had a few minutes to sit in front of the computer and decided to roam around a bit and leave an occasional comment.  I've been so negligent in keeping up for so many months, or out of the loop so to speak,  I find it hard to understand where everyone is in their lives now.  I need to get on here more often!

My Associate Pastor has signed up for xanga at http://www.xanga.com/inhisservice2day.  Maybe you could go there and encourage him to share something with us!!  He has found out where his next assignment will be and seems pleased.

Not a lot of new things to say at the moment, will be back with something soon!

    Be Blessed!

  • Waves wildly! Hi! Hello! It's good to see you!

  • i will stop by his site. i didn't realize you had posted since last year (that sounds so ancient though it was a few months ago) or i would have stopped by sooner.

  • I hipe this means that you will be blogging more often.  I have missed your insight into spiritual issues.  It must be close to impossible to catch up without reading numerous blogs for each person, so I will give you a quick thumbnail look at my life.  I had a wonderful praise when my youngest daughter, Beth, after much Christian marriage counseling was remarried last August to her husband.  Beth suffers from mental problems due to some very tramatic events in her life.  Their marriage fell apart when her husband just couldn't understand why she couldn't just not allow herself to have problems.  They are doing great now.  This last fall, Beth and I drove to California to visit my mom (now 102 years old) and other family members.  I "cleebrated" the holidays by getting pnemonia, which took quite a bit of time to recover from.  In January Beth was admitted to a mental hospital due to extreme depression.  In the past she had been hospitalized about every 3 months.  This was the first hospitalization since February 2007, so that was encouraging.  She is now doing much better.  She goes to an outpatient program three days a week - down from the five days a week originally assigned when she was released from the hospital.  In February I had cataract surgery on my eyes.  I now do not have to wear glasses for distance, but may have to wear them to read.  They are still improving.  I continue my involvelemtn teaching an adult Sunday school class.  Since my class is composed of older ladies, at any time there are several who are in a hospital, nursing home or sick at home, so I do a lot of visiting.  About a quarter of our class time is spent in prayer and giving praises for answered prayer.  I have just begun a second ministry.  I am now on the breavement committee (there are three of us).  We meet the needs of families when there is a death in the family.  I am looking forward to spring and getting out into the yard.  Take care and God bless your day.

  • maybe I will run in the next elections, Dale. Haha. Penang, the state I am staying, is now governed by a new coalition of three political parties. We threw out the old coalition, which had been ruling the state since 1969 and I am so happy because we did together. Praise the Lord.

  • Hi Dale,

Are you a Pastor? You mentioned "Your Associate Pastor" just signed up at xanga that's why I asked.  Haven't been to Pennsylvania but someday I will. :)

    God Bless,

    Cecile

  • Hi, Dale.  I think I'm around here just as much as you are.  hope all is well in your world.

  • I'm in the same boat... I've just recently started to get back into it and I've realized that I do really enjoy posting and commenting... I've missed it.
